Important Notes (Updated April 1, 2026):
Stone chip repairs are now FREE at all extension deductible levels ($200, $300, $500, and $750). If you have any extension coverage, chip repairs cost you $0.
Extension $200 is the only level that also waives deductibles for vandalism and theft claims.
The previous $200 Plus and $200 Standard have been combined into a single Extension $200 with all the Plus features included.
The basic deductible is now $1,000 (increased from $750). A new Extension $750 option is available.
Vandalism claims require a police report number. In Winnipeg, file online through the Winnipeg Police Service.
Your deductible is the maximum you’ll pay. MPI covers the rest — we bill them directly.
If you have the $1,000 basic deductible, an out-of-pocket quote may be cheaper than filing a claim. We’ll help you compare.
Vehicles with ADAS (2018+) may have higher total repair costs due to required calibration — making claims worthwhile even at higher deductibles.
